Our first video!

It is time and past time for an update here; my apologies to anyone who thought we dropped off the face of the earth…

What have we been doing for the past few months? A refit of special magnificence, that’s what.  Plus I made a video about the first part of our refit so that took some time and effort and hair-pulling.

The refit was hard work; we are glad we did it and we are doubly glad it’s over. Devilfish is much safer and stronger now. We are stronger now, too. It was no small amount of physical labor that went into improving our boat.

I am working on more videos and will write more words later for those of you who like that part. It’s important for me to take some time to put things into perspective. I don’t like to write about big stuff in the moment; there’s no way that words of any quality could filter through the whining/complaining/worrying/anxiety net of my brain. It’s better to stand in the light and look back into the dark tunnel.  Saying “that wasn’t so bad” is much better than “this will never, ever, ever, ever, ever end…”.
