Here’s another time-traveling post.
For those who need back-story: we spent over 4 months living with friends while Devilfish was being refit. Those friends moved to Berlin, Germany at the end of July (don’t we lead exciting lives?) and we went to visit them at the beginning of October to celebrate my birthday.
It was our first visit to Germany and we had a marvelous time! We were able to catch the end of Oktoberfest (consuming oodles of beer) and saw just about everything possible in Berlin. We had three days to pack it all in since we were flying standby and the return flights were booked up. Was this enough time? Absolutely not. Did we enjoy ourselves immensely and want to go back? Absolutely yes!
